Industry Type: IT-Software, Software Services Location: Hinjewadi, Pune (work from office) or Nashik YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: As the VP - Enterprise Services , you will have complete ownership of the end-to-end delivery of services, programs, and projects across multiple verticals, strategic business units, and customer units. This includes formalized operating model, overseeing everything from resource ramp-up to the successful management of programs, ensuring seamless delivery and profitability. You will be accountable for the P&L of the entire enterprise service portfolio, driving financial success while balancing operational efficiency. The role requires an experienced leader who has managed large-scale service delivery operations, overseeing large, cross-functional teams across multiple geographies. You must possess a strong background in scaling delivery teams, managing complex technology solutions, and ensuring delivery excellence to achieve both customer satisfaction and internal goals. Key responsibilities include portfolio management, delivery oversight, technology strategy, architecture design, resource and budget planning, and operational optimization, with a relentless focus on achieving business outcomes and financial targets. Key responsibilities: Service Leadership: Oversee the entire software delivery function across multiple industry verticals and strategic business units, ensuring the seamless execution of all enterprise services . Manage and lead a large, cross-functional team including service delivery managers, program managers, and project managers, to drive excellence in service delivery operations, ensuring that all customer programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic business objectives. Portfolio & P&L Management: Take complete ownership of portfolio management. Quantify current cost, tracking of time/financials of ongoing projects. Ensuring that all services and projects are delivered on time, within scope, while driving profitability across the organization. Technology & Architecture: Drive the technology vision, ensuring that delivery frameworks are optimized for performance, scalability, security, and reusability. Take ownership of technical architecture, from design through implementation and deployment. IT Delivery Process & Standards: Establish and maintain IT delivery processes that align with industry standards to ensure consistency, scalability, and quality across all projects. This includes embedding and enforcing Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and iterative delivery models across cross-functional teams. You will ensure that these processes are followed rigorously across the delivery lifecycle—from planning through execution and deployment—to optimize operational efficiency and align with customer expectations and internal business goals. Operational Excellence: Overseeing onboarding and offboarding of projects. Build enterprise level operational processes in alignment with customer requirements and frameworks to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction. Introduce best practices, such as Agile methodologies and DevOps principles, and AI/ML led automation to ensure delivery excellence. Stakeholder Management: Act as a key point of contact for executive leadership and customers, ensuring alignment of goals, expectations and open communication. Collaborate closely with all product and program verticals to meet and exceed both internal and customer needs. Resource Planning: Develop resource plans, to ensure optimal utilization and balancing project demands with available capacity. Oversee the hiring, training, and retention of top talent within the delivery teams. Budgeting and Financial Oversight: Manage the P&L for the enterprise services division. Ensure that all services are delivered cost-effectively while meeting customer expectations. Innovation & Service Offerings: Lead the conceptualization and development of new service offerings and solutions, staying ahead of industry trends and customer needs. Team Development: Mentor and guide delivery teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Ensure continuous learning, growth opportunities, and succession planning for team members. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, maintain up-to-date knowledge of security and quality standards, and implement risk mitigation strategies in delivery organization wherever needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & SKILLS: Education : Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a reputed institution. Experience : 20+ years of experience in the industry, with at least 12+ years of experience in delivery management for large accounts (>1000 people) or multiple accounts. Must have experience managing large delivery teams of diversified across geographies. Leadership Experience : Experience as an Enterprise Delivery Head or Technology Practice Head, managing horizontal or industry verticals. Experience managing delivery operations in the U.S. market is essential. Communication & Collaboration : Exceptional communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders, including senior leadership and customers. Process & Quality Management : Strong experience in implementing quality management processes, operational frameworks, and best practices to ensure delivery excellence. P&L Management : Proven experience in managing multi-million-dollar portfolios and driving profitable enterprise delivery operations.
