Do you want to make a difference in the Energy Transition of our clients? We are looking for a Senior Consultant / Project Manager Energy Transition Technology.
The purpose of this role as a Senior Consultant / Project Manager Energy Transition Technology is to support our customers to realize their goals and ambitions in the energy transition. You will work in our Energy Transition Technologies team focusing on technical and strategic advisory services to (inter)national utilities, industry, asset owners, governmental organizations, and investors helping them to reach CO2 targets and energy transition goals.
The project portfolio of the team is a mix of technology and service development work for clients and groups of clients, demonstration and testing of existing and new innovative energy technologies, consultancy on these technologies, combined with market and regulatory modeling and consultancy services.
Our team works on a wide variety of energy and decarbonization technologies with application in the energy transition, such as sustainable fuels, biogas, biomass and waste, hydrogen, electrification, hydro, and geothermal.
Our service portfolio covers project management and project development services, feasibility and sourcing studies, bankers and lenders technical support, operational support, independent engineering services, system engineering and integration, technical benchmarks, and technical due diligence and qualification.
The team is currently growing and to strengthen its position on the above-mentioned services and sectors, we are looking for a senior consultant/project manager who will be part of a customer-centric technical team and will actively be working on the acquisition, managing, and execution of projects, sales, and business development activities.
In order to provide consultancy and project management services and advice to our customers, you'll be responsible for the following tasks:
Acting as a consultant and advise our clients in projects and combine that with the role of project manager.
Ensuring that projects are executed within scope, quality, budget, and planning.
Acting as the key expert and first point of contact for our customers on specific topics or services, preferably in the field of sustainable fuels.
Writing and reviewing proposals, reports, and advice to our customers.
Contributing to clear and high-quality customer interactions and presentations.
Working together with and lead colleagues and experts in projects.
Leveraging with younger colleagues and develop the team.
Selling new projects to grow our business.
Building a network with (potential) clients.
Identifying customer/market opportunities and develop our services based on these needs.

Education:
Bachelor or Master's degree in a technical study, preferably with a specialization in Energy and/or business management or equivalent qualification.
Key skills required:
Several years of relevant working experience in the industry with experience in technical and/or financial consulting, project development, and project management.
Affinity with energy and production processes in the industry, preferably in the field of sustainable fuels.
Strong network in Industry.
Strong skills and capabilities to develop yourself as a consultant and project manager.
Understanding of the technical consequences of a business decision as well as the business consequences of a technical decision.
Ability to work individually as well as in a team.
Ability to handle complex (technical) problems and be able to deal with multiple parties with conflicting interests.
Ability to lead (inter)national projects and function as a trusted partner of our customers.
Confident, able to get their view across and willing to participate in training/mentoring junior staff, ideally had previous training skills.
Effective writing and communication skills both in Dutch and English language are a requirement.
