Reporting to the Sr Director of Marketing & Revenue Generation, the candidate will be in charge of developing the business in the region, focusing on demand creation that will generate revenue for the Connectivity Systems BU (CSBU). He/she will be identifying and making the first engagement with new customers in the region (hunting) as well as increasing CSBU market share at existing customers (farming), in collaborative joint work with the local Sales team. He/She will be managing a small team of technically skilled US-based marketers. He/She will also be in charge of building intimacy with customers in new market value chains to pave the way for future business. This work will be carried out in collaboration with the local Sales team, the Demand Creation teams in other regions, the Product Requirements teams, the Solutions & Products Management Team as well as the Application Engineering team in the Connectivity Systems Business Unit (CSBU).TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIESCreate business opportunities for CSBU in EMEAGenerate demand creation (opportunity funnel) and subsequent revenueEngage and become intimate with new market value chain stakeholders, leading to future businessGather market, customer and competitive inputs and share them with other Product requirements & specification organizationsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGES / SKILLS10+ years in the Electronic/Software/RF domainStrong experience in Business Development and demand creation & relationship buildingSolid knowledge and understanding of market value chains and how to engage themCollaborative work in a cross-functional environment and across multiple regionsSuperior communications skills: interpersonal, written, and presentationSuperior ability to create & maintain interpersonal business relationships with Customers & PartnersComfortable with ambiguity and starting from "scratch"Creative, analytical, and data drivenQUALIFICATION / EDUCATIONEngineering / Master's degree in Electronic/Software/RF with solid experience in a Business Development or Marketing roleAn MBA is highly valued, ideally applied in the technology or Semiconductor sectorsMAKE A DIFFERENCE AT QORVOWe are Qorvo.
