Job Family Facilities Management and Support Services Contract Type Direct Location Business Line Facilities Management & Support Services Department Facilities Closing Date 17-May-2024 Job Purpose The job holder is responsible for accurately estimating the costs of projects and services related to facility management, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.to provide the most accurate and comprehensive financial and budget analysis. Key Accountabilities Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for facility management projects. Consult with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimating purposes. Develop and maintain cost databases and estimating spreadsheets specific to facility management projects including determining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product. Prepare and present cost estimates, including detailed breakdowns of materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses related to facility management projects. Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor bids to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness for facility management projects. Monitor and track project costs throughout the lifecycle of facility management projects, identifying and addressing any cost overruns or variances. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members in the Facility Management and Support Services department to develop cost-saving strategies and alternative solutions. Prepare and maintain documentation related to cost estimates for facility management projects, including reports, correspondence, and other records. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to cost estimating in facility management. Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project. Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelor of Engineering in a related subject or equivalent. Professional Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook. Experience Requires minimum of 3-8 years related experience Languages Excellent command of English (writing and speech). Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis Report writing and strategic planning skills Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large projects About Application ProcessIf you meet the criteria and you are enthusiastic about the role, we would welcome yourapplication.Tocomplete the application you would need the following document(s):
