Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide IT technical support to assigned department/personnel.Answer computer related problems from the users over the telephone.Respond to user questions via email.Create monthly metric charts of all the LAN/WAN and system problems.Maintain/support email servers, remote access servers, web servers, proxy servers, and file servers.Implement engineering changes for future improvements on LAN/WAN networks.Update IT documentation as appropriate.Provide OJT when required by management in accordance with appropriate training manuals.Assist and train personnel in becoming proficient in the IT Platform Operations, Maintenance, Technical Support in accordance with manuals.Job SpecificationQualificationThe candidate shall have a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science.ExperienceThe candidate shall have a minimum of ten (10) years working experience in carrying out the following activities:Planning, designing, configuring and testing of computer and networking hardware and software including operating systems.Planning, designing, configuring, managing, and testing of data network and security including the VPN connectivity.Providing tier 3 and 4 support to helpdesk.Planning, designing, configuring, managing, and testing of Microsoft Active Directory forest and domain.Planning, designing, configuring, managing, and testing of group policies.Planning, designing, configuring, managing, and testing of Microsoft Exchange email system.The experience must include working with the following hardware and software:HP and Dell ServersPrinters (LaserJet, inkjets, dot matrix etc.)SAN/NAS storageBackup software such as Arcserve or NetbackupCisco Routers and SwitchesNortel ATM SwitchesIP TelephonyWeb ServersMicrosoft Windows XP/Vista/2000/2003 SoftwareMicrosoft ISA 2004/2006 ServerMicrosoft Exchange 2003/2007 ServerMicrosoft Active DirectoryHP OpenView (Network monitoring and management software)Location: Information Technology and Services - Riyadh 11393, Saudi Arabia
