Are you a seasoned Recruitment Consultant with a strong track record in your field? TCQ Consulting, one of the first recruitment businesses in India backed by Recruitment Entrepreneur and globally renowned investor James Caan CBE, is seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our dynamic team in Gurugram, India. This role is part of a rapidly growing global portfolio, positioning TCQ Consulting to deliver outstanding talent solutions to clients in the highly competitive market. About the Role: As a Senior Consultant, you’ll oversee the entire sales and recruitment cycle, including business development, account management, and talent delivery within the Consumer or BFSI sector. We are specifically looking for someone who has worked within a recruitment agency, rather than in-house talent acquisition, corporate, or client-side roles. Key responsibilities include:
- Client Account Development : Generate and expand client accounts by building relationships with leading firms in the Consumer or BFSI sector.
- Candidate Sourcing & Engagement : Identify and engage high-calibre professionals to meet client needs, prioritising external revenue over internal hiring.
- Strategic Advisory : Act as a market expert and strategic adviser, using industry insight to tailor recruitment solutions for clients.
- Negotiation & Placement : Oversee negotiations, offers, and placements, fostering repeat business and establishing yourself as a trusted consultant in the industry.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for Consumer/BFSI roles, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, handling negotiations, and securing placements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the respective sector, providing tailored recruitment solutions based on a deep understanding of their needs.
- Leverage market knowledge to attract and engage top talent in India.
- Offer strategic insights to clients on market trends and effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Mentor junior consultants, sharing your expertise to enhance team performance and ensure successful placements.
- Stay informed on industry trends, positioning yourself as a trusted expert in recruiting professionals within the industry sector.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and uphold best practices throughout the recruitment process.
- 10+ years of recruitment experience, ideally with a focus on the Consumer/BFSI sector.
- Demonstrated ability to make successful placements within relevant roles.
- Strong knowledge of the job market in India, with an established network of relevant contacts in the respective sector.
- Experience working within a recruitment firm (not in-house talent acquisition, corporate, or client-side roles).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to independently manage recruitment processes and contribute to the team's success.
