Join us today to enable a secure future.Key AccountabilitiesUnderstand all principles of Documentation Management and Control and implementation of processesCompile and maintain Configuration Management Plans (CMP)Liaise with project team to gain an in-depth understanding of the configuration requirements of the projectIdentify CM requirements that cover the system, hardware, software and data/info requirementsCollaborate with the project design / development team to provide support on multiple, concurrent configuration baselines aligned with the CM PlansApply Verification mechanisms to ensure correct baselines are deliveredProduce reports on configuration status of specific projectsConduct System, Functional and Physical audits to validate the accuracy of product data per productCoach, guide engineers on the Configuration Management Processes they need to followConfiguration Planning: Resources are identified and individuals to understand their responsibility, authority, accountability and the procedures for performing CMConfiguration Identification: This function is related to fully identifying the configuration of a product, e.g numberingConfiguration Change Control: After the initial release of configurations and baselines, all changes should be controlledConfiguration Status Accounting: Record keeping and report generation relating to the status of the configurationConfiguration Audits: To assure the product complies with its specified requirements and to assure the product is accurately reflected by its configurationKnowledge/Qualification & ExperienceMinimum of 10 years extensive hands-on experience in configuration management / document control within a systems engineering methodology in a technology companyPreferred minimum of 7 years experience in an Aerospace or Defence environmentHigh school diplomaBe certified in an International CM Course (Minimum 4 Courses)Technical background with diplomas in either Electrical Engineering or Mechanical EngineeringKnowledge of ANSI/EIA 649, System engineering principles, software CM system - Windchill / SAP
