My client, a growing accountancy practice, is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their North County Dublin team. Role Overview As an Audit Manager, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of audit and accounts engagements. You will oversee statutory financial statements, supervise junior staff, and ensure that all work meets professional standards and deadlines. The role may involve occasional travel to the Dundalk office for team meetings. Key Responsibilities Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of audit and accounts engagements, ensuring compliance with professional standards and deadlines. Financial Statement Review: Oversee and review statutory financial statements and accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Tax Compliance: Review corporation tax returns prepared by junior staff and ensure timely filings. Team Supervision: Mentor and support junior staff, providing technical guidance and conducting periodic appraisals. Client Liaison: Maintain strong client relationships and deliver outstanding service throughout the year. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with other departments to identify and meet client needs comprehensively. Profitability Management: Monitor work-in-progress profitability and achieve monthly billable work targets. Technical Expertise: Stay updated on technical knowledge, including UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and ISAs, and fulfil CPD requirements. Business Development: Assist in proposals for new work and participate in presentations to potential clients. Ad Hoc Projects: Support business consultancy projects and other duties as requested by directors. Ethics and Standards: Uphold the firms code of ethics and business conduct. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CPA (or equivalent). A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a fast-paced audit department or practice. Proven experience in managing and leading teams. Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and ISAs. Tech-savviness and the ability to adapt to new systems. Location North County Dublin, Parking onsite. Hours Monday Thursday 8:30am 5:30pm & Fridays 9am 12:30pm. Skills: Audit ACCA UK GAAP
