Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Education and Qualifications:- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications or memberships (e.g., MRICS - Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) could be advantageous.
- Proven experience specifically in fit-out projects within the interior design or construction industry.
- Familiarity with estimating, cost control, and procurement processes related to fit-out works.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software for quantity surveying (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, BIM software).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, tendering processes, and legal requirements related to fit-out projects.
- Understanding of building regulations and standards relevant to interior design and fit-out.
- Preparation of bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documents.
- Cost estimation and budget management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Value engineering to optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Contract administration and management of variations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
- Willingness to collaborate closely with architects, designers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in project management methodologies and tools, though not always mandatory, can be an advantage.
- Proven track record with knowledge of turnkey projects and experience in executing Hospitality and Residential Projects.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
