TEAM LEAD, expert senior level+ dev, MERN stack

Are you an expert senior level+ developer with experience as a Team Lead?If you're an expert senior level+ developer with verifiable Team Lead experience, this job will become a long-term engagement as an independent contractor with excellent compensation and flexibility.We need an expert senior level+ full stack MERN dev to join our team.You need several years of verifiable experience as a Team Lead.You need proven experience writing high quality, optimized code.You must be trustworthy.You must work well as part of a fully remote, distributed team based in India.We need you to fit into our team culture and to add value to our culture.Please be prepared to demonstrate your coding skills for FE and BE, architectural skills and DevOps skills.You will be asked to schedule an on-camera technical interview. If you pass the technical interview, you will be asked to schedule a personal interview that is non-technical.Our team has worked together successfully for ten years. We are growing fast and are actively looking for accomplished team members who will add value to our team and to our product.Tech stack• Structure: Micro-service architecture• Front end: ReactJS.• Back end services: Typescript, with frameworks such as Koa, Express, Typegoose, etc.• Our services communicate with each other through gRPC protocol from within the cluster.• Storage layer: MySQL & MongoDB• Development tools: JIRA, Github, Slack.Skills & Requirements• Demonstrated expertise with JS, specifically MERN stack• Proven experience as an efficient developer• Proven experience as a Team Lead• Able to create architectural patterns for a large, scalable web application• Experience with GraphQL• Experience with MySQL/RDS• Experience with Github• Experience with JIRA & AWS• Experience writing Unit Tests for your work (We use Jest)Responsibilities/Requirements• Collaborate with our team in India (IST timezone), share knowledge and experience, conduct code reviews and architecture reviews, enforce software engineering best practices• Write well-documented code and follow best practices to transfer knowledge among our team• Attend three weekly stand-ups on Zoom at 3:30A (UTC) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week. (Example: 8:30P MST, 9:00A PKT, 9:30A IST)• Be available full-time as Team Lead on IST timezone.NOTENO AGENCIES.
