Requirements:
- Accounting knowledge: A basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures, and preferably experience in an accounting role
- Computer skills: Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing programs
- Communication skills: The ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
- Attention to detail: A high level of accuracy and the ability to maintain order
- Ethics: Responsibility and professionalism when handling financial information
- Adaptability: The ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances
- Customer service: The ability to provide excellent customer service
- Prepares payment by verifying documentation and requesting disbursement
- To ensure timely and accurate update in the accounting system
- To perform day to day processing or financial transactions and to ensure that they are up-to-date
- To perform monthly bank reconciliation, monthly analysis, daily collection
- To update the monthly aging report
- To assists superior as when required
- Handle day to day operations of accounting records and filing
- To perform any other ad-hoc assignment as and when required
- Handle general ledger such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal, banking and any task related to accounts
- Perform payments to vendors and suppliers upon stringent verification on all invoices
- Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
