IT Project Manager

This is a role within the banking domain so we expect the candidate to be comfortable managing complex multi-year cross-asset projects and Agile methodology. Project Manager will partner with the teams based in onsite/offshore. The ideal candidate will have a mixture of strong project management skills and a working knowledge of the associated technology solutions. The focus for this role will be to deliver projects leveraging existing and new architecture solutions of the cross-asset space. The expectation is that the Technical Project Manager will be engaged in run-the-bank and change-the-bank projects like enabling and supporting daily banking functions, regulatory commitments with the key focus on defining strategic product solutions across onsite/offshore teams using Agile methodology.
Responsibilities
lead the delivery of the service,manage the risk, dependencies, quality and change at project level
drive effective project governance to stay in line with scope and timelines
liaise with project stakeholders, gaining go forward decisions and signoffs
allocate, utilize and direct personnel resources to drive projects to completion
prepare reports about progress to the higher managers
Skills
Must have7+ years of proven managerial experience, managing at least 15 people
Working in Banking Domain experience is required
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
Experience in Service management processes (Service Mgmt, PM.)
Familiarity with ITIL: Experience with ITIL v4 practices, ability to implement and document procedures accordingly
Ability to work well in high pressure situations while coordinating resources across various teams, managing difficult discussions and leading meetings with IT technology Leads
Excellent written and verbal English language skills
Very good communication , presentation and stakeholder management skills and experience
