This is a remote opportunity and open to candidates that reside in the United States and CanadaVelocityEHS is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Demand Engagement Manager to join our Sales Team. As a Demand Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and leading a team of demand engagement representatives. We are looking for a driven professional who possesses a strong sales background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for achieving sales targets.In this role, you will lead, mentor, and manage a team of 3-6 remote working, metric-driven sales representatives, specializing in lead conversion activities to create software sales across various industries. Your leadership skills will be instrumental in driving their success and achieving revenue targets. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market presence, utilizing your expertise in managing call volumes, activity-based performance, and the discovery process. Your dedication, strategic mindset, and ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team will be key in achieving our sales goals and driving customer success.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Directly manage a team of demand engagement reps to generate qualified meetings with decision makers within our targeted segments.Manage the team to proactively follow up with inbound leads ensuring timely and consistent engagement.Own and drive execution of pipeline goals by understanding and analyzing top of the funnel metrics, pipeline quality, and revenue produced across the organization.Create strategic scripting and follow-up workflows to ensure high-quality lead discovery.Identify gaps in existing demand follow-up and develop strategies to shorten time to first response and overall response rates.Provide comprehensive scoping notes to sales reps, detailing potential customer requirements and needs.Formulate a lead disqualification process to ensure optimal focus on viable opportunities.Lead data enrichment efforts to ensure quality, actionable records in the contact database.Support account-based marketing initiatives (ABM) with follow-up activities against targeted accounts.Collaborate cross-functionally with our Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Enablement teams to develop Sales-led growth strategies.Minimum Skills and Qualifications:5+ years of related experience including:2+ years of experience managing business development or inside sales teams, including experience hiring team members; and3+ years of business development and pipeline generation experience.Experience with Salesforce required.Proven track record of inbound lead scripting and building inbound processes/workflows.Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and a performance management culture.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Coachable, receptive to feedback, and driven by continuous learning and improvement.Preferred Skills and Qualifications:Familiarity with Outreach.IO and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is preferred.BDR Management experience within a SaaS organization preferred.Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.We welcome and encourage diversity in the workplace.
