Job Purpose: To effectively manage defined Local Market to achieve financial and non-financial targets and successfully meet customer's expectations. Leads Lean in their branch and acts as a role model. Ensure frontline feedback is provided to proposition units. Ensure adherence to all process and controls in branch. Floor management and high level of customer satisfaction in the branch. To manage efficiently a branch team in a risk-free and customer-friendly manner.
Key Result Areas
- Manage cash counter transactions of a branch with a customer.
- Identify new business opportunities within the local trade boundaries through broader market knowledge.
- Achieve branch-based target by identifying target groups and deploying appropriate sales approach and allocate resources accordingly to ensure 100% score with mystery shoppers.
- Predict customer attrition ratio based on trend analysis and market dynamics by monitoring customer behaviour to maintain it at the lowest level.
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by defining roles and responsibilities and monitoring Branch resources in order to consistently meet the set service delivery standards.
- Consistently achieve acceptable risk rating by adhering to Bank Operating Policies, procedures and monitor exceptions and facilitate accounting controls to minimize operational errors.
- Set job objectives and perform timely review to measure performance and identify staff development and training needs.
- Ensure clarity among staff of KPI's and job competencies required to effectively achieve business goals.
- Identify and reward high performers and implement an effective retention program for critical staff.
- Plan the goal setting, leave calendar, training requirement with the team.
- Achieve the standard set on the balance score card for all direct reports.
- Work with the team in development plan in order to maximize productivity.
- Maintain branch design, floor management, look & feel of staff / branch.
- Ensure CRM leads are managed and followed for closure.
- Supervise branch staff on a daily basis and maintain overall branch experience.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure satisfactory resolution.
- Obtain feedback from customers and staff to ensure quality service.
- Monitor daily activity/exception reports and ensure all transactions are properly authorized.
- Provide continuous feedback to Branch Operations unit on process adherence and any observed inconsistencies at the counters.
- Strive towards identifying process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure proactive management and implementation of anti-money laundering policies and procedures.
- Ensure effective and timely implementation of changes / modifications to the processes and policies made by Head Office.
- Ensure all branch lending is undertaken and controlled in accordance with the bank Credit Policy.
- Monitor and supervise activity levels of all branch staff.
- Delegation on branch Empowerment- L1 & L2 Credit Approvals Authority process followed.
- Ensure Islamic first principle followed by all Shariah compliant sales staff.
- KYC / E-name / Compliance and AML process followed.
- Ensure NIL rejects across all products and segments at branch level.
- Daily huddle meeting with branch staff on implementation of process and gaps observed.
- Timely action taken on all financial referrals and exceptions.
