Tail lift Engineer / Mobile Service Engineer

About Us. Double 4 Ltd are a small family company that have been trading for over 40 years and are one of the leading Tail lift and shutter repair companies in the Southeast. We work on any type of vehicle fitted with a tail lift or shutter and pride our self on exceptional customer service. The Position Our engineers carry out maintenance and repairs to Tail lifts, Shutters and Body Repairs. Previous experience as a tail lift engineer is preferred but to the right candidate we can offer training. We offer a competitive hourly rate of pay, overtime and other benefits including daily bonuses. Responsibilities include: · Carry out maintenance and repairs on a variety of tail lifts and shutters. · Fault diagnosis and repairs will include Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics . Carry out Service / LOLER & Annual Weight testing. · Completion of all paperwork on PDA’s including service sheets using online systems · To work safely and comply with H&S legislation and company procedures at all time Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Valid UK driving licence.
• Good Knowledge/understanding of electrical fault finding.
• Mechanically minded.

About you: This position would suit a self-motivated team player who is also able to work independently and can offer great customer service. Ideally you will have experience with vehicle tail lifts, but we will consider engineers or mechanics with a background in vehicle maintenance, vehicle recovery, plant machinery, rail, forklifts or other associated equipment and industries. Working Hours: · The normal working hours are from 09.00 hrs until 17.00 hrs Monday to Friday. · Hourly Rate: £16.00 Std / £20.00 OOH · You will be on a call out rota to attend breakdowns, this includes weekends and evenings. · Overtime is available and forms part of the overall job requirement. .
