An exciting opportunity to join new projects with a leading Oil & Gas Operator based in Qatar. They are looking for a Head of Civil Structural Engineering. The role is an initial 3-year contract working 6 days per week / 10 hours per day and will be based in Nanterre, France - from initial mobilization until Oct. 2024 and then in Qatar Onshore - Nov 2024 until the rest of the assignment till Aug 2027.Day rate, accommodation & transportation allowances and economy class flights provided.Please send your CV to middleeast@kintecglobal.com and quote the job title.Deadline - 21/07/2024 at 10 A.M. by Qatari time.Job Description Highlights:Verify the design and implementation of Civil/Structural deliverables including earthworks, buildings, structures, piperacks, G&A, plant layout, and 3D model.Effectively manage FEED Contractor and Civil/Structural Engineering team to deliver technical input in accordance with project requirements from contract award until EPC contract award.Maintain constructive working relationships with FEED Contractor, its subcontractors, and vendors to ensure delivery of workscope in accordance with project requirements.Maintain relationships with stakeholders (e.g. Operations, SHE, and Quality) to ensure alignment of Engineering deliverables.Minimum Requirements:15 years of experience at a senior Civil/Structural Engineering supervisory level with a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, and construction.Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering discipline or equivalent.Professional registration with an accredited Regulatory Body desirable (PE, C.Eng., EUR ING, or equivalent).
