Senior Financial Controller

Our client is a well-known manufacturing business based in the GCC. With operations across a number of countries, they are looking to hire an experienced manufacturing finance professional to oversee the finance function. This role would be the most senior in the finance function and report directly to the Qatar based GM.Key responsibilities are as follows:Financial accounting & Treasury/Cash ManagementWorking Capital ManagementCash flow & cost managementDue DiligenceFund RaisingPreparation of various MIS reports & submissions of the same to the managementSupervision of the day-to-day accounts of the companyHandling the audit of the financials and assisting the auditors in completion of the audit by fulfilling the various audit requirementsStrategic planning for optimum deployment of fundsDebtors ControlSupervision of the staff in the regular day-to-day accounting functionsLegal Issues:Preparation of agreements & scrutiny of sub-contractor agreementsLiaising with lawyers for various casesPreparation of legal letters & noticesMinimum Requirements:Experience in a lead finance role, having led a finance functionHold an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)Manufacturing sector experienceMust already currently work or reside in the GCCSkills:Technical & Business acumenPeople service orientedCreative thinker and listening skillsExcellent analytical and negotiating skillsOrganized and attention to detailInterpersonal skills/communication skills
