Senior Water Resources Engineer

Job Description A large consulting company with offices across South Africa and internaionally is looking for a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join their team in Johannesburg. Minimum requirements: •Bachelor's or master's degree in civil and chemical Engineering. •PrEng accreditation. •Over 8 plus years' experience in the field of Engineering related to surface water will be advantageous. •MS Word, MS Excel (Advanced), MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Projects, •Use of GoldSim, PCSWWM, CAD will be advantageous. •Demonstrated ability in water resources including hydrology, water balance, mine water management, flood modelling, water supply feasibility and water reuse. Your responsibilities will include: •Develop water and salt balances for mining and industrial clients. •Give input on water components for EIA's and mine waste management projects. •Develop high quality project and design technical reports for clients. •Manage project budget, resources, and timelines effectively. •Mentor junior engineers with stormwater, hydrology and water and salt balance projects. •Prepare Macros on Excel for data interpretation, reporting and management. •Health and Safety
