Aviation Bay Planner

Job Description:

1. Ensure pre-loaded spares are in order prior to start of an aircraft check;
2. Perform all SAP-related functions in the ops room, including ordering of spares, aircraft configuration update and job card processing;
3. Perform paperwork audit for aircraft checks;
4. Arrange support from Workshops or Contractors for aircraft on-site job;
5. Follow up on SECTARs and withdrawal of job cards after check completion;
6. Monitor and coordinate timely arrival of all spares to meet flowchart target;
7. Coordinate with Ops Supt/Customer/Workshop in the movement of spares, component loans or exchange, proper certification/documentation for all components received;
8. Play an active role in providing assistance to Bay MP, MPEX for all work requirements;
9. Ensure all completed check packages are dispatched to Tech Record within KPI;
10. Attend all necessary and required meetings with customers and various divisions;
11. Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
2. Team player with good interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly, having some experience working with Microsoft Excel and using simple formulas, filtering, sorting would be advantageous).
4. Some SAP knowledge will be advantageous.
5. Related working experience in Base Maintenance / aircraft hangar work environment would be advantageous.
6. Ability to appropriately engage with customers (primarily via emails and phone calls).
7. Ability to adhere to timelines and milestones.
