Focused on providing the most cost-effective solutions to engineering challenges, we are involved in a diverse range of projects from the initial planning stages to design, construction, and commissioning. CIMA+ cultivates career growth and provides opportunities as unique as you are.This role will be based out of our Rossland BC offices.Primary ResponsibilitiesConducts structural inspections for industrial projectsDesigns for equipment foundations and support structuresConfident making technical decisions with limited informationEstimates and prepares engineering proposalsEnsures projects are on task, on budget and on scheduleApproves and stamps own project design and reports, and those of engineers in training for whom you are providing peer review, as appropriateClient-facing, able to well-represent the company and the community in presentations and meetingsProfileBachelor's Degree Structural Engineering7+ years of experience in consulting engineeringRegistered P.Eng. in the province of Alberta,British Columbia orSaskatchewanPossesses advanced technical skills in steel and concrete design, with field experiencePossesses design experience in heavy industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Hydro & Dam and Renewable Energy. Substation design experience - an assetWorking knowledge of Canadian codes and standards, as well as knowledgeable of good design practices.Proficiency in the use of SAP 2000 or similar.The expected salary for this position is from $105,440 to $131,800 based on the richness and diversity of the candidate's experience, training, skills and internal equity.
