They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications They should be comfortable coding in a number of languages and have an ability to test code in order to maintain high-quality code. Job Summary Client is looking for Snowflake Data engineer. Resposibilities

• Data Pipeline Development & Management:
• Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines to integrate, transform, and load data into Snowflake from a variety of sources (internal and external).
• Develop and optimize high-performance queries and ensure proper data processing using Snowflake's native features (e.g., clustering, materialized views, streams).
• Collaborate with data architects and business teams to design and implement efficient data models within Snowflake, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with governance standards.

Qualifications

• IT experience with major focus on data warehouse/database related projects
• Must have exposure to technologies such as Oracle, Snowflake.
• Experience in data platforms: Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, MDM etc
• Expertise in writing SQL and database objects - Stored procedures, functions, views.
• Hands on experience in ETL/ELT and data security, SQL performance optimization.
• Good to have experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP and Snowflake
• Good to have strong programming/ scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
