Senior Business Analyst - Te Puna Aonui (Fixed-term 9 months) Location: Wellington Make a real impact: Become part of our vision to eliminate Family Violence and Sexual Violence in Aotearoa New Zealand. We steward the family violence and sexual violence system and drive realisation of the cross-agency strategy Te Aorerekura. We work in partnership with communities across Aotearoa New Zealand, placing survivors, families, and whānau at the heart of everything we do. Te Haeata / The Opportunity Te Puna Aonui is seeking a 9-month fixed-term Senior Business Analyst to join our Māori & Community Partnerships group. This role will be a key contributor to regionally focused application of Te Aorerekura, our cross-agency strategy to eliminate family violence and sexual violence. The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in collecting, analysing, and sharing data insights to inform local and regional development. You will collaborate across the Enabling Communities team to connect insights across the nation and to disseminate data that enriches regional planning. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for improving business processes within the Māori & Community Partnerships group to ensure effective and efficient operations. - Proven experience in a business analyst role.
- Strong critical thinking and analysis skills.
- Experience using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Expertise in business writing and/or writing for government.
- Experience leading projects or contributing to the delivery of projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with Māori entities.
- Knowledge of tikanga Māori and experience with the machinery of government.
