Account Receivable Officer Progress with purpose at one of Australia’s largest health care providers. Permanent Full-Time Opportunity Location – Collins Street Melbourne OR Warabrook NSW About the role The Accounts Receivable Officer is a member of the Finance Team for the Calvary Aged Care stream operating under a shared service model to provide services across Australia. This role will focus on active debtor management, and the AR Officer will play a key role in providing support to the Finance department as required and will also be responsible for the delivery of excellence, for tasks assigned to manage a portfolio for Accounts Receivable (AR) end-to-end. The Accounts Receivable Officer will deliver a high standard of work, possess a strong attention to detail, and have the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in a dynamic working environment. Your main duties will include:
Actively manage debtors, with a focus on the reduction of outstanding debts and including managing account inquiries.
Facilitate the resident data entries into the resident system (Epicor).
Process and follow-up fees and Department of Health notifications.
Facilitate the processing residents’ fees and statement issuance on a monthly basis or as required.
Facilitate the processing of the direct debit billing of resident fees and the receipting of residents fees.
Facilitate the processing of invoices for sundry charges to residents accounts.
Management of bond and RAD registers to comply with prudential requirements.
Ensure resident system (Epicor) notification to relevant authorities resident discharge or death.
Facilitate timely response to department inquiries.
Process resident events using online claiming.
Provide advice and support to stakeholders.
Process and reconcile Medicare funding.
About you
Demonstrated experience in the administration of Accounts Receivable.
Sound knowledge of the receivables process.
Sound knowledge of administration and experience in Microsoft Suite.
Highly developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated high-level analytical and account reconciliation skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and to prioritise conflicting tasks through effective time management.
Desirable
Experience in aged or community and/or health care.
Experienced in the use of resident management systems (Epicor preferred).
Able to provide evidence of Covid-19, current influenza immunisation status.

This role will focus on active debtor management, and the AR Officer will play a key role in providing support to the Finance department as required and will also be responsible for the delivery of excellence, for tasks assigned to manage a portfolio for Accounts Receivable (AR) end-to-end. <br> The Accounts Receivable Officer will deliver a high standard of work, possess a strong attention to detail, and have the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in a dynamic working environment. <br> Your main duties will include: <br><ul><li> Actively manage debtors, with a focus on the reduction of outstanding debts and including managing account inquiries. </li><li> Facilitate the resident data entries into the resident system (Epicor). </li><li> Process and follow-up fees and Department of Health notifications. </li><li> Facilitate the processing residents’ fees and statement issuance on a monthly basis or as required. </li><li> Facilitate the processing of the direct debit billing of resident fees and the receipting of residents fees. </li><li> Facilitate the processing of invoices for sundry charges to residents accounts. </li><li> Management of bond and RAD registers to comply with prudential requirements. </li><li> Ensure resident system (Epicor) notification to relevant authorities resident discharge or death. </li><li> Facilitate timely response to department inquiries. </li><li> Process resident events using online claiming. </li><li> Provide advice and support to stakeholders. </li><li> Process and reconcile Medicare funding.  </li> </ul> About you <br><ul><li> Demonstrated experience in the administration of Accounts Receivable. </li><li> Sound knowledge of the receivables process. </li><li> Sound knowledge of administration and experience in Microsoft Suite. </li><li> Highly developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li> Demonstrated high-level analytical and account reconciliation skills. </li><li> High attention to detail. </li><li> Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and to prioritise conflicting tasks through effective time management.  </li> </ul> Desirable <br><ul><li> Experience in aged or community and/or health care. </li><li> Experienced in the use of resident management systems (Epicor preferred). </li><li> Able to provide evidence of Covid-19, current influenza immunisation status.  </li> </ul> For further information please contact: <br> Katherine Moller on 0403 330 296 or <br> Why work for Calvary?<br> At Calvary, our staff matter. Get ahead with salary packaging, benefits and professional development in a supportive team environment. <br> Permanent Full-Time Opportunity <br> Location – Collins Street Melbourne OR Warabrook NSW <br> About the role <br> The Accounts Receivable Officer is a member of the Finance Team for the Calvary Aged Care stream operating under a shared service model to provide services across Australia. This role will focus on active debtor management, and the AR Officer will play a key role in providing support to the Finance department as required and will also be responsible for the delivery of excellence, for tasks assigned to manage a portfolio for Accounts Receivable (AR) end-to-end. <br> The Accounts Receivable Officer will deliver a high standard of work, possess a strong attention to detail, and have the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in a dynamic working environment. <br> Your main duties will include: <br><ul><li> Actively manage debtors, with a focus on the reduction of outstanding debts and including managing account inquiries. </li><li> Facilitate the resident data entries into the resident system (Epicor). </li><li> Process and follow-up fees and Department of Health notifications. </li><li> Facilitate the processing residents’ fees and statement issuance on a monthly basis or as required. </li><li> Facilitate the processing of the direct debit billing of resident fees and the receipting of residents fees. </li><li> Facilitate the processing of invoices for sundry charges to residents accounts. </li><li> Management of bond and RAD registers to comply with prudential requirements. </li><li> Ensure resident system (Epicor) notification to relevant authorities resident discharge or death. </li><li> Facilitate timely response to department inquiries. </li><li> Process resident events using online claiming. </li><li> Provide advice and support to stakeholders. </li><li> Process and reconcile Medicare funding.  </li> </ul> About you <br><ul><li> Demonstrated experience in the administration of Accounts Receivable. </li><li> Sound knowledge of the receivables process. </li><li> Sound knowledge of administration and experience in Microsoft Suite. </li><li> Highly developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li> Demonstrated high-level analytical and account reconciliation skills. </li><li> High attention to detail. </li><li> Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and to prioritise conflicting tasks through effective time management.  </li> </ul> Desirable <br><ul><li> Experience in aged or community and/or health care. </li><li> Experienced in the use of resident management systems (Epicor preferred). </li><li> Able to provide evidence of Covid-19, current influenza immunisation status.  </li> </ul> For further information please contact: <br> Katherine Moller on 0403 330 296 or <br> Why work for Calvary?<br> At Calvary, our staff matter.
