About Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community High School Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community High School (CHS), opened in 2006, offers secondary courses from Year 7 to 10 . With an enrolment of over 900 students , the school serves a diverse range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, contributing to a vibrant and collaborative school culture. The school's student services team ensures excellent pastoral care and monitoring, with dedicated year coordinators and student support officers working closely with each year group. Our dynamic teaching staff provide engaging delivery of both core curriculum areas and a diverse range of subjects and programs catering to a variety of student needs and interests. The Role As a key member of the administrative team, you will work closely with the Principal and Executive Team to provide educational leadership both within the school and the broader community. Your primary focus will be on developing and promoting the school's vision, encouraging active participation from school staff, community volunteers, and other stakeholders, within the Science learning area . In your capacity as a curriculum leader, you will play a crucial role in providing professional guidance to Science teachers, ensuring they stay informed on relevant curriculum issues within your designated area. You will be instrumental in facilitating teaching and learning outcomes, employing effective performance management strategies, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement among the school's academic community. A key aspect of your role may involve implementing change management strategies to lead the school community in embracing and developing opportunities for improved services within your specified subject area. Your contributions will extend to the collaborative development of the school plan, involving participative decision-making, policy development, and the establishment of necessary systems.
