Clinic Services Coordinator - Eastern Province - Almoosa Specialist Hospital

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greets the patient and courteously asks for his/her complaints.
  • Requests for patient identification and asks for a type of coverage (Cash, Insurance, and Aramco).
  • If the patient is Insurance, checks eligibility of coverage at ASH.
  • Scans patient information such as identification, Insurance card, medical report and enters it in the patient electronic record.
  • Opens file for clinic visit.
  • Charges services entered by the physician.
  • Makes appointments for the patients to follow up visit.
  • Provides assistance to the patient whenever needed for location of Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology department and other areas in the hospital.
  • Schedules re-appointments or refers the patients to another clinic upon receiving notice from the clinician that he/she will not be available at the due appointment time.
  • Provides personalized coordinated care, and support for patients and families.
Job Description:
  • Answers department telephone calls, using correct salutations and telephone etiquette.
  • Asks patients if they need to print invoice bills.
  • Explains the percentage of insurance and different percentages with specialists for the patients.
  • Treats people with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Qualifications: High school diploma or Bachelor's degree. Professional Experience: At least 1 year experience working as a receptionist. Typing skills and computer knowledge are essential. Special Skills:
  • Ability to communicate with staff and patients with courtesy.
  • Good grasp of the English language.
  • Initiative and ability to work under stress.
