General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management) POSITION OVERVIEW Our client is a privately-owned provider of education courses within the Community Services sector. This role will be focused on driving the strategic direction of the business by ensuring all components and departments of the business are performing to expectations and striving for continued growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide inspired leadership and support championing the company values.
• Develop high quality tactical plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term business objectives defined by the Director.
• Oversee the complete operation of the business in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plan(s).
• Evaluate the success of the business in reaching goals and take prompt action to course-correct when required.
• Train and develop high performing teams.
• Build trust and strong relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important stakeholders.
• Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
• Implement quality processes that document, assess, improve and deliver favorable service performance.
• Benchmark and improve performance and service level internally and externally.
• Regularly communicate with employees about the decisions that affect the business and their responsibilities in accordance with these activities.
• Adapt to changing business conditions by identifying potential drivers of change and proactively altering priorities and activities.
• Create an environment that promotes great performance, open feedback and positive morale.

• 5+ years of corporate senior leadership experience within the VET sector.
• Highly developed interpersonal, leadership, negotiation and management skills.
• Direct experience in leading at least two business functions typically in an RTO operation e.g., sales, operations, student support, training etc.
• Analytical mind-set and problem-solving orientation.
• Ability to build consensus and relationships among senior leaders and broader team.
