Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and manage all aspects of the business, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.
• Maintain and update knowledge on different types of glass, installation techniques, and safety regulations.
• Prepare accurate quotes and negotiate contracts, optimizing profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Lead market research to stay ahead of new trends in the glazing industry and technology, implementing innovative solutions to meet changing customer needs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry contacts, suppliers, and partners to secure new work and opportunities.
• Drive business development activities, identifying new markets and strategies to expand our presence and increase market share.
• Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the organization.

• Direct reports: Office Manager, Production Manager and Sales Manager;
• Reporting to the owners, with a significant degree of autonomy reflecting the seniority of the role.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the glazing or related industry, or running a business in this sector.
• Extensive industry and technical knowledge about glass types, installation methods, and the latest glazing technologies.
• Strong business acumen with experience in quoting, negotiating, and managing contracts.
• Proven track record of business development and an established network of industry contacts in Australia.
• Ability to keep abreast of new trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the glazing industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to lead a team and foster relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
