Job Description : Job Title: YouTube Video Script Writer (Work from Home) Job Type: Part-Time / Freelance Location: Remote (Work from Home) About Us: We are an innovative YouTube channel focused on [tech, AI, and kids' stories], blending education and entertainment to engage a diverse audience. We are looking for a talented Script Writer to join our creative team. If you have a knack for storytelling, creative writing, and YouTube content creation, we’d love to work with you! Key Responsibilities:
- Write engaging, conversational, and compelling scripts for YouTube videos that resonate with our audience.
- Develop creative, story-driven introductions, with a preference for starting with a question to hook viewers.
- Craft well-researched and informative content related to [tech, AI, and kids' stories], tailored to the channel's style and audience.
- Work closely with the video editor and the rest of the team to ensure the script aligns with visuals and the overall production.
- Write in Roman English with a natural, human-like tone, ensuring clarity and flow.
- Maintain consistency with the channel’s voice, ending all scripts with “with that said, thanks for watching and until next time.”
- Adhere to deadlines and be open to feedback and revisions.
- Work from home with flexible hours.
- Collaborate with a growing YouTube channel.
- Creative freedom and a fun, supportive environment.
- Proven experience as a Script Writer, preferably with experience in YouTube or digital content creation.
- Strong understanding of YouTube SEO and audience engagement strategies.
- Excellent storytelling, research, and writing skills.
- Ability to adapt to a variety of content themes, particularly [tech, AI, and kids' stories].
- Must have a good sense of humor, creativity, and the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with YouTube analytics and how to optimize content for viewer retention.
- Interest in tech, AI, or children's content is a bonus.
- Experience writing in a similar niche.
