Location:Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin / Balbriggan Co. Dublin Salary:Negotiable Education:Third Level Engineering Qualification (Level 8 or higher) Type of Position:Permanent full-time position Experience:0-10 years The Role: An Engineer to work as a Traffic Engineer to undertake such as Traffic Impact Assessments and Feasibility Studies. Currently we are continually undertaking traffic related work for all of the Dublin Local Authorities and for Cork and Limerick City Councils. In addition, we provide services directly to the National Transport Authority on a range of cycle and public transport schemes. Recent major traffic related projects undertaken by CSEA include Dublin Orbital Bus Routes Cork Bus Routes College Green Public Realm LUAS Peer review Who you are: Candidates should be enthusiastic diligent team players who possess a strong technical knowledge and good understanding of the requirements for traffic assessments and delivery of traffic related reports. You should be willing to take responsibility and be comfortable working as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication in English is essential. CSEA currently work in partnership with a major UK based Traffic Specialist for the development of Traffic Modelling. Preferably you will have expertise in all or some of the following Traffic Analysis Software VISSIM OSCADY ARCADY TRICS SATURN Linsig What you will do: Assist team design teams in the development of Traffic and Transportation Related schemes Advise design teams in the preparation of Building Projects (Planning Stage) Report Writing Presentation to Clients/Design Teams Public Consultation Activities (Meetings Scope, Tender and administer Traffic Surveys Note: the opportunity to become involved in the design and delivery of road/traffic improvement schemes through to completion can be afforded to candidates who wish to undertake work of this nature.
