Welcome and guide guests/customers to their assigned tables with a friendly demeanor.Assist in managing guest restaurant reservations efficiently.Possess a good understanding of the menu (food and beverage) and presentation standards; offer menu recommendations upon request and suggest additional options.Be proactive in addressing any unexpected guest needs with prompt and efficient action.Serve guest orders according to restaurant standards.Record transactions/orders in the Point of Sales terminal promptly.Communicate order details to the kitchen staff, including VIP requests and special instructions.Ensure cleanliness and organization in work areas, including chinaware, silverware, and glassware, and maintain the overall presentability of the restaurant.Review order dockets to ensure accurate preparation for orders and present the final bill to guests for payment processing.Check the accuracy of bills/checks before presenting them to customers or processing payments.Complete shift closing procedures on the Point of Sales terminal, including reconciling cash and credit card settlements.Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentability of the entire restaurant at all times.Ensure consistent implementation of brand standards and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).Perform closing duties, such as restocking items and generating closing reports.Conduct routine inspections of all outlet equipment to ensure proper working condition and report any repair or maintenance needs.Actively participate in coaching and developing junior staff members.Fulfill any ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Manager.SkillsRequirements2+ years of relevant experience in food and beverage servicesGood Knowledge of Food and BeverageOutstanding communication, interpersonal and exceptional guest service skillsProficient and effective problem solverExcellent team leader with the capability of performing multiple tasks at hand with minimal supervision and adequate to support and lead junior staffUp to date knowledge with food and beverages trends and best practices
