Marketing Research Manager
Esquare Services (Pvt) Ltd, PakistanThe position entails a single point of contact for all organizational research needs, whether they are internally or externally managed. The incumbent will be responsible for all analytical activities conducted on the IMS platform and will be required to regularly monitor market trends in order to gauge opportunities and threats to the company products. The position also requires the management of a marketing intelligence system, whereby competitive reports gathered by field support will need to be analyzed and shared with the marketing group. The market intelligence shared will need to be monitored for importance, urgency, and relevance to the company products, and it will be the incumbent's responsibility to keep the brand teams up to date with this information.
Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for developing a detailed analysis on quarterly IMS reports and identifying areas of opportunity in the market for growth.
The incumbent will support brand teams with their research requirements and will coordinate research projects with third-party agencies once projects are initiated.
The incumbent will be responsible for the effective management of research projects and will need to ensure the alignment of the research objectives with the brand objectives.
Responsible for coordinating all ad-hoc research that is to be undertaken on any brand within the organization.
Responsible for the Market Intelligence Group's activities that are aimed at gathering competitive information from the market.
Responsible for organizing trainings on the IMS platform for all relevant colleagues.
The incumbent has to liaise effectively with the New Product Planning function on all marketing research related to products in the pipeline.
Liaise with the Business Development function for marketing research related to new projects.
Conduct marketing research with regard to the development of Retail Trade initiatives.

Technical:Understanding of overall business objectives of the company and understanding of pharmaceutical sector intricacies.
Demonstrated strategic skills including creativity and effectiveness in identifying and addressing major strategic challenges, and the ability to balance short-term needs with long-term vision.
Verified ability to facilitate open discussion and debate and build relationships through partnering, anticipating needs, and fulfilling expectations.
