Our collective future depends on decarbonizing the fossil fuel industry, while innovating a new energy landscape.Location:London, UKJob Summary:The IT Intern will work closely alongside the Onsite Support Analyst, responsible for serving as a desktop support expert for computer hardware, software, and peripherals.Responsibilities and Duties:Provide second-line investigation and diagnosisResolve and close incidents and service requests as per IT procedures and allocated timelinesEscalate unresolved incidents and service requests within agreed timescalesLog incident and service request details per IT proceduresCommunicate with customers regarding incident progressEnsure tickets are updated at all times until issues are resolvedConduct regular asset audit and maintain the asset management systemDeliver location assigned projects within the agreed timelineMaintain meeting rooms IT equipment in a healthy statusAssist location administrators with IT ordersComply with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment policies and IT policiesLiaise with customers, other IT support groups, and third-party providers when necessaryPerform staging of PCsEssential Requirements:Obtained BS or MS in Information Technology studies including Network, ICT, and Computer Engineering (or closely related degrees) of a 2:2 standard or above.The right to work in the UK.Preferred Skills:Ability to work with colleagues internally to help solve their technology challengesProblem-solving with the capacity to engage positively with othersVery good interpersonal and communication skillsKnowledge of telecommunications and networking principles relating to LAN and WAN technologiesAbility to work collaboratively with various IT teams and providers both internal and externalIf this role is of interest to you and you are eager to learn more, we strongly encourage you to apply.
