Job Summary
Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a secretary who has worked in a manufacturing company. The Secretary will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the manufacturing company. This role involves managing communications, coordinating office activities, and maintaining records to support the company's operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
- Prepare and proofread internal and external communications, including reports, memos, and emails.
- Organize and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, and company events.
- Prepare agendas, take minutes during meetings, and distribute them to relevant parties.
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and phone inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Handle confidential information and sensitive issues with discretion.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth office operations and resolve administrative issues.
- Assist with managing office equipment maintenance.
- OND/HND in Office Administration, Bus Admin, or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a Secretarial or Administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, and telephone systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
