IntroductionThe Aga Khan University Hospital is a not-for-profit healthcare institute that offers all medical services to their patients under one roof. It also offers Home Healthcare Services and home deliveries of medicines. The Hospital provides Zakat for those patients who are eligible, and the health systems offers generous Patient Welfare to support those in financial need. In recognition of its high quality and patient safety, the AKUH is accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) as an Academic Medical Centre and its Clinical Laboratories are accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for fast and accurate testing.

ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible to:

Exercise effective supervision of all guards in his area of responsibility and ensure through periodic patrolling that the staff are alert/vigilant and carry out their duties effectively.

Provide security to all institutional staff and property at FAS site, and extend security assistance to all visitors and employees of AKUH when called for.

Promptly report all incidents, fire, accident and/or theft/loss, trespassing, etc. to SIRC/Manager Security (OC & OP).

Keep the Manager OC & OP informed through SIRC of all security/administrative matters within his area of responsibility.

Assist and escort Police and Law Enforcement personnel within FAS Site premises when asked to do so by SIRC/Manager Security (OC & OP).

Carry out investigation of incidents and report to Manager Security (OC & OP)/SIRC.

Ensure regular inspection/maintenance of outsourced company weapons through SIRC.

Prepare the monthly duty roster, get it approved from Manager Security (OC & OP) through SIRC and ensure its implementation.

RequirementsYou should have:

At least Intermediate; a Bachelor's degree will be preferred.

At least two years of relevant experience, preferably in Armed Forces.

Strong security management skills and intelligence; experience and service with SSG & Intelligence units will be a definite advantage.

Strong supervisory skills and ability to handle security investigations.

Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills.

Willingness to work in shifts.
