Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | Posted on 12/15/2023 As an IBM DataStage ETL Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining ETL processes using IBM DataStage. Your primary focus will be on extracting data from multiple sources, transforming it according to business requirements, and loading it into the target database/data warehouse. Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and design ETL processes accordingly.Develop and implement ETL jobs using IBM DataStage to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into the target systems.Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and ETL processes.Create and maintain documentation for ETL workflows, mappings, and processes.Optimize ETL jobs for performance and efficiency, ensuring scalability and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including database administrators, data analysts, and business users to meet project requirements.RequirementsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience working as an ETL Developer or Engineer, specifically with IBM DataStage.Strong proficiency in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL processes.In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and SQL.Experience with data integration, data migration, and data transformation techniques.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory but Desirable):Certifications related to IBM DataStage or relevant technologies.Familiarity with other ETL tools and technologies.Experience with cloud-based ETL solutions.
