Responsibilities:Ensures all work follows safe work practices and procedures.Responds immediately to all work requests which concern Health and Safety.Responds to guest requests promptly in a professional and courteous manner.Operates, maintains, and repairs all audio visual lighting and related equipment.Ensures the optimum performance of all A/V and lighting related equipment by effectively following the preventive maintenance routine.Evaluates and appropriately responds to equipment usage and energy efficiency.Completes all work orders with due diligence.Maintains a daily log book highlighting problems and solutions; and activities.Maintains A/V and lighting shop drawings and files.Maintains equipment catalogue and tagging directories.Completes tasks as assigned by AV Supervisor / Shift Supervisor.Maintains health and safety documentation and records for the assigned area.Reports and documents potential safety hazards.Participates as directed in the emergency response team.Qualifications:Highly responsible and reliable.Previous experience with painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related experience is an asset.Previous experience with pool and spa is an asset.Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as a part of a team with minimal supervision.Enthusiastic and dependable.Active listening skills.A self-starter who takes initiative and can make decisions in a fast-paced changing environment.Constant standing and walking throughout the shift.Proficient in the English language (verbal & written); a second language is an asset.Customer service skills.Interpersonal skills.Good communication skills.Remote Work:NoEmployment Type:Full-time
