As Head of Finance, you will play a key role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring our financial health. You'll manage all financial operations, provide strategic guidance to the team, and support Brenger's growth. You'll oversee financial planning, budget management, and cost-benefit analyses while ensuring the accuracy of financial reports and monitoring risks and investments.
Key responsibilities:
Financial Reporting (20%): Prepare accurate monthly financial reports.Investor Relations (20%): Develop investor reports and play a key role in securing investment rounds. During fundraising periods, this responsibility will take up most of your time.Forecasting and Budgeting (20%): Create and manage forecasts and budgets for various teams.Optimizing Financial Processes (20%): Enhance and streamline financial processes throughout the company.Cashflow Management (10%): Oversee cash flow and anticipate future cash requirements.Risk Management and Compliance (10%): Manage financial risks and ensure compliance with relevant (financial) regulations.
After one year:
After 12 months, your strategic vision will be embedded in our financial policies, operations, and organizational practices. You will independently run the finance department and successfully fulfill its responsibilities, including:
Taking on full ownership of business forecasting and budget management across all teams, ensuring sustainable growth and financial stability.Playing a pivotal role when securing a next investment round for accelerating our international expansion, effectively showcasing the company's value and potential to investors.Managing both internal and external financial reporting with accuracy and clarity.Implementing a scalable internal framework for finance operations, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.Offering high-level financial advice for strategic decision making throughout the company.
Who you are:
Minimum of 5, but preferably 7 years of experience in finance, consultancy, or investing.Significant experience in financial planning and reporting.Excellent presentation skills.Strong Excel skills (at least intermediate level).
