Client Operations Officer, Clearing Services (12 Months Contract)

CACEIS was set up in Cyberjaya, Malaysia in July 2023 with approximately 1,000 employees, following the acquisition of RBC Investor Services’ European business and Malaysia centre of excellence. As a centre of excellence, the team in Malaysia provides asset services, custody, and payments for clients in Europe (Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom) with a global operating model that maximizes efficiencies across time zones, supports 17/5 operational capability with a follow-the-sun model, enhances scalability of our global operations, and implements standardized processes. What will you do?
  1. Perform matching of broker trades with client confirmations, covering APAC and European markets.
  2. Process transaction corrections, take-up trades, give-up trades, and position offsets.
  3. Perform reconciliation for listed derivatives, collateral securities, and options.
  4. Data control to collect price and validate static data required for contract setup and the transmission of trades from Middle Office to Back Office.
  5. Timely resolution/escalation of inter-departmental and cross-functional queries.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
  1. 0-2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates will be considered.
  2. PC literate in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  3. Basic knowledge of different investment instrument types.
  4. Motivated, flexible, and able to be part of a team.
Nice-to-have
  1. Knowledge of Listed Derivatives will be an added advantage. Any prior banking experience in operations/back office is a plus.
  2. Systems literate.
  3. Good verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Process improvement and innovation.
