Animal Husbundary Assistant

Performs routine physical labor in order to maintain sanitary conditions at LARC that involve cleaning and autoclaving of animal related materials such as cages, drinking bottles, scrubs, and food. Scheduling and monitoring wastes pickup, loading and storing of received packages. Performs related responsibilities as required. Employees in this classification may be required to work on irregular working hours and shifts at weekends and holidays.
- Scrub and wash cages.
- Operate cage washing machine
- Operate autoclave.
- Dispense bedding at clean cages and store
- Dispense animal food and drinking water as needed
- Maintenance of cleanliness in the working area.
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning, autoclaving and waste pickups
- Perform other tasks and duties that may be occasionally required in order to meet the requirements of the role and the aims of the University.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma
- English, Basic oral and written
- Arabic is preferred
