Our mission is to utilize AI to enhance the capabilities, safety, and effectiveness of defense and municipal operations.    We have a R&D Center in Hyderabad, India and these roles are in person in Hyderabad only.Position Overview As an Expert AI Engineer specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our advanced software solutions. You will work on both GovGPT DragonFly™ and FireFly, integrating real-time sensory inputs and applying business rules and standard operating procedures to provide actionable recommendations and situational awareness. We are forming an initial team of superstars and are looking to hire three engineers.Key Responsibilities:Develop and optimize computer vision models for real-time image recognition, fire detection, and weapon identification on edge devices.Build and refine transcription and translation models to enable accurate, low-latency language processing, including speech-to-text and multi-language translations on the edge.Integrate sensory inputs from a variety of sources including remote stationary cameras, 5G devices, drones, and body-worn cameras for real-time analysis.Focus on minimizing latency and maximizing performance by leveraging NVIDIA Jetson and other edge computing platforms.Fine-tune AI models using the latest advancements in Large Language Models (LLMs) and computer vision techniques for seamless edge deployment.Implement edge processing for DragonFly™ and FireFly, ensuring that most data processing, inference, and recommendations are handled locally on the device, with limited reliance on cloud-based inference.Design and maintain APIs for real-time communication and data integration between edge devices and cloud systems.Collaborate with R&D and hardware teams to source and validate the best components and devices for edge AI deployment.Keep abreast of the latest trends in edge AI, particularly in areas related to computer vision, transcription, and translation models, and identify opportunities to improve existing products.Project Management:Manage and prioritize multiple AI-driven projects to meet tight deadlines and project milestones.Work closely with manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure that edge devices are built to handle the required AI workloads efficiently.Maintain detailed documentation of AI model performance, edge-device integration, and project outcomes.Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with public safety and defense professionals to understand their real-world requirements and adapt AI models accordingly.Present technical updates, performance metrics, and project progress to senior management and external stakeholders.Provide technical support and training to internal teams and external partners, ensuring smooth deployment of edge AI systems.Innovation and Problem-Solving:Identify opportunities to innovate by incorporating the latest AI research and techniques into real-time edge solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that arise during the development and deployment of edge AI systems.Ensure compliance with defense sector standards and security protocols while maintaining high product quality.
