Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Financial Analyst who is enthusiastic about financial planning and analysis, accounting, and is willing to take on finance-related administrative tasks such as payroll, compliance and tax filings (in collaboration with an external tax prep firm).Key Responsibilities:Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reportsForecast financials for future quarters for our leadership teamPrepare department budgetsCompare forecasts to actualsPerform cost analyses, and give recommendations for improving efficiencyHandle payroll for employeesHandle taxes and compliance filings for our India and US operations, in collaboration with our external tax and compliance consultantsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or MBA.Excellent English and the ability to work with employees in both India and the US. This is mandatory. Minimum 2 yrs experience in accounting. Experience in startups will be an added advantage.Proficiency with accounting software such as Quickbooks.Attention to detail.Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee information.
