Operations' which includes production, purchasing, and logistics for global Training Solutions (TS) in alignment with the corporate strategy. This role drives, manages, directs, and leads strategic organizational design and management processes, employs continuous improvement initiatives, policies, and processes throughout operations to increase production effectiveness, improve margins, minimize project risk, improve overall customer satisfaction, and ensure a safe working environment through leadership and commitment to company safety standards.Your key responsibilities:Overall responsibility for meeting cost and expense targets of TS and shares revenue and margin targets outlined in annual budgets and revised forecasts with MD of LION Protects b.v.;Represent Operations in the LION Protects Management team;Governance of the project management process of all TS projects;Sharing, collaboration, and presenting on best practices up to Management team level at LION and others across the organization;Initiates and drives the strategic planning for current and future requirements for manpower, equipment, and space to effectively, efficiently, and profitably deliver projects;Directs the planning and budgeting processes so that the needs of Operations are anticipated, and operations are properly controlled;Implements and manages the activities of project management, ensuring that deliverables are met in a timely, efficient manner at the lowest possible cost;Ensures a safe work environment for all employees at both local project locations as the main LION EMEA facility;Overall responsibility for finding and negotiating agreements with subcontractors necessary to build or install elements of the TS projects at the lowest possible cost consistent with the necessary quality and service levels with contractual risks transferred and/or mitigated appropriately;Overall responsibility for the production functions to support production of TS products in a manner that meets the project plan and cost budgets;Overall responsibility for the installation, quality assurance including incoming and project testing and inspection, conforming to quality specifications and standards;Collaborates cross-functionally with customer service, marketing, engineering, purchasing, sales, etc. to resolve complex problems that affect the quality of orders or service delivery.Experience and qualifications:Bachelor degree in Engineering / Project Management / Business or equivalent;5 - 10 years relevant experience in a similar organization and international projects setting;5 years leadership experience (up to senior management level);Familiar with international business practices;Experience with large-scale construction projects, especially those including installation of technical equipment or industrial process equipment and controls controlling natural or LP gas; or installation of kitchen equipment in any type of facility;Knowledge of international construction contract standards such as FIDIC and/or NEC.What is offered:LION EMEA Protect BV offers a very competitive remuneration package, including a company car and 40 vacation days, plus the possibility to develop and grow into future management positions in the Group.
