Overview & Responsibilities We are hiring for a Project Engineer at Tirln to assist with the delivery of projects specifically focused on the delivery of sustainability commitments over the coming years. With a flexible base across any of a number of Tirln sites, the role will report to the Senior Engineering Manager for Sustainability. Responsibilities Co-ordination, tracking and reporting of projects, across all Tirlnsites, associated with the delivery of company sustainability commitments on energy efficiencies, carbon emissions reductions and water intensity optimization. Monitoring of project progress in line with objectives, deliverables and timelines addressing potential delays including mitigation actions and escalation where necessary. Play a key role in the identification, approval & delivery of specific carbon reduction measures across multiple sites. Work within a cross functional multidiscipline team environment. Assist with the development of project budgets, scope and system performance targets for tendering to external contractors. Review of tender submissions and design proposals from external contractors Management of the implementation of certain projects projects are executed both in house and by external contractors. Ensuring projects are carried out in accordance with the sites stringent engineering standards and Environmental / Health & Safety / Quality requirements. Requirements 3rd level qualification in Chemical, Mechanical,Process or Sustainability Engineering. 1 years experience in a similar role ideally Knowledge and experience of using AutoCAD and Solidworks is desirable Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills Excellent communication verbal & written Motivated and self-driven Proactive and innovative problem solver Good analytical and IT skills Ability to travel between sites as required is essential Focus on sustainability If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date resume.
