Account Executive

Company Name: QL Endau Marine Products Sdn Bhd Position Title: Account Executive Snapshot of the role: The Account Executive is responsible for preparing and maintaining financial reports, which include management accounts, tax computations, etc., to ensure accuracy and compliance with procedures, policies, rules, and regulations to support the business development plan.

• Handle and prepare a full set of accounts for the company, including updating and verification of ledger, bank reconciliation, accounts payables, accounts receivable, month-end closing, statutory reports, and any related accounts documents to ensure all financial reports are accurate and valid to support business operations.
• Liaise with internal auditors, external auditors, and tax agents to assess internal controls, accuracy of financial and administrative records, and compliance with approved policies and procedures.
• Maintain well-organized and thorough financial reporting records and ensure that all accounting is performed within the company’s policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain the function of credit control to ensure the credit limit of accounts receivable is within control to minimize the risk of bad debt.
• Maintain accounts database in the system, which includes fixed assets register, AP and AR account profiles, and any related records to ensure accuracy of records retrieved.
• Handle and prepare accounts payable payments as scheduled to ensure support for business operation activities.
• Other duties as deemed necessary.

• Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related field
• Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft applications and accounting system applications
