Position: Senior Design Engineer and UtilitiesLocation: QatarPosition type: PermanentAn international consultancy renowned for its work within the infrastructure sector currently has an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Design Engineer Utilities to join their expanding team in Doha. The position will be based in Qatar, where you will be working on the development of Qatar's infrastructure programme. You will be based on-site overseeing the project, ensuring that it meets design specifications on time and within budget.Responsibilities:Closely liaise with design consultants and CAD staff to ensure effective design completion and coordination for facilities and utility distribution.Manage planning and design on large infrastructure and building projects while coordinating planning and design phases with consultants and internal teams.Experience in designing large infrastructure utilities projects (i.e., major drainage networks, water treatment plants, buildings, water pumping stations, potable water mega tanks, and other civil works).Conduct concept design and detailed design.Minimum Requirements:Degree in Civil Engineering.Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer.15-20 years of experience, including experience working on utilities projects.Prior experience working in the Middle East is desired.About The Company:Pertemps Engineering is a specialist supplier of recruitment and project staffing services to both clients and candidates alike.
