The better the supports around you, the more confident you will be in looking after clients. We offer a structured new graduate program guided by regular clinical supervision, graduate coaching by our Discipline Leads, and structured professional development opportunities.Assistance with relocation costs may be available, to help you settle in to your new location!Opportunity to work as a Therapy Assistant prior to graduation (optional). Earn money while assisting to perform therapy under the careful supervision of a AHP. Start working with your caseload, shadow other AHP's and attend training, all designed to help you hit the ground running!A dedicated 12-week graduate program, so that you can pick up therapy duties with ease. Our new graduate induction program includes:Inductions - multi disciplinary and discipline specificBi-monthly new graduate meetings10 weeks of clinical training sessions, discipline specificShadowing daysSupervision commencing on a weekly basisIf you are looking to transition to therapy in a supportive and values driven environment, and want to work within an energetic and passionate team of professionals we want you!About the position:Positions will commence January 2024, or earlier if you wish to commence as a Therapy Assistant prior to graduation;You will be an active member of our New Graduate Support Network;You will join and be part of our multidisciplinary teams who work together to support our customers to achieve their goals.You will be responsible for managing your caseload to provide timely and evidence based intervention to people across the lifespan. From children 1+ years through to pre-schoolers, school-aged children, adolescents and young adults, to adults - where we have the capacity to support - with a range of conditions;You will provide intervention in a variety of locations; clinics, schools/preschools, in-home, via telehealth or at day programs. These may be delivered on an individual, group or consultative basis.You will attend internal professional development and following probation have access to a generous external professional development budget relevant to your caseload and personal development goals so that you continue to expand your skills and learning. In addition to this you are given 10 days paid professional development per year.You are allocated IT equipment such as an iPhone and Laptop to help you work remotely;You have access to the use of a pool of company cars or you can utilise your own, with kilometre reimbursements.You will be joining a large multidisciplinary team of over 100 therapists across NSW, ACT & QLD.About you:Genuine interest and commitment to the human services industryAn understanding of NDIS is desirableExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to manage a caseload in an efficient and effective mannerTertiary qualifications in Speech PathologyRegistration with SPAExperience working with children, young people and adults with disability is desirableAn understanding of assessments and interventions within the scope of your practiceCurrent driver's licence and willingness to drive within the regionNDIS worker check, or willingness to obtainWorking with Children Check, or willingness to obtainCurrent first aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtainA family friendly workplace is offered and support provided for staff to manage their home and work lives effectively,Salary packaging of up to $15,900 available, increasing your take-home pay significantly,5 weeks paid annual leave,A generous paid parental leave program for eligible staff,Up to 10 days of Professional Development Leave, each Financial YearMultiple employee benefits, such as discounted gym & health fund memberships, discounted motor vehicle services, entertainment cards and novated leasing optionsCovid Vaccination StatusThe health and safety of our people, customers, and communities is our number one priority.
