About Our ClientOur client is in the logistics business and operates in various countries.Job DescriptionAs a Financial Controller, you will serve as the right hand of the Finance Manager. You will strengthen the Dutch Finance team, consisting of four colleagues, and work closely with your colleagues in different countries. In this broad role, you can contribute operationally and strategically, providing advice by understanding the story behind the numbers. With your expertise, you will be crucial in elevating the Finance department by managing and optimizing the audit process, reporting, and financial processes, including further implementing Power BI.Key Tasks & Responsibilities:Responsible for the monthly and quarterly closings, as well as the reports and analyses that result from them;Continuously seek improvements and optimization of processes;Act as the point of contact for financial matters both internally and externally;Oversee the KYC process and debtor management;Ensure intercompany reconciliation.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting & Control, Finance, or Business Economics;Solid years of experience in audit, accounting, or as a GL Accountant in a corporate setting;You are tech-savvy and find it challenging to automate processes;Excellent communication skills and fluent in English & Dutch;You are a self-starter and results-oriented.What's on OfferGreat career opportunity in a flexible working environment.
