The Vice President for Zone A will manage, lead, and oversee all aspects of MRO & Offshore Projects and the related yard construction, production, and project execution requirements to support safe, efficient and profitable Operations. The VP shall manage key relationships for the Company including its Markets, Customers, Suppliers, IMI departments and employees. Zone A Operations and Projects shall be completed Safely, to acceptable Quality, with effective Risk Management and to all contractual requirements, Budgets and Schedules.Your responsibilities Ensure the development of Yard Operational and Production plans.2. Develop and manage excellent standardized project management processes and procedures and ensure Project Managers are executing projects accordingly.3. Develop and manage excellent standardized fabrication, assembly, and erection processes and procedures for trade disciplines.4. In liaison with other functional groups, establish project organization charts and project resource requirements based upon project work scopes and budgets.5. Establish yard organizational charts suitable to efficiently delivery Operational and Project requirements.6. Support the BD team with proposals, marketing, forecasts and technical assistance as required.7. Support Operations Planning and Control group in the development of annual budgets, KPIs, and resource planning.8. Ensure that all projects are completed with full compliance with the Company's and Contractual obligations.9. Ensure Risks and Opportunities are effectively managed.10. In conjunction with HR, ensure employee certification, training and qualifications are managed.11. Ensure "early warning" of problems and develop adequate mitigation plans.12. Manage customer relations with key clients.13. Resolve conflict or claims with Clients, Suppliers and Subcontractors.14. Ensure yard operations are safe, well organized and efficient.15. Embrace and support the digitalization initiatives.16. Ensure effective and prompt communication of Operational & Project challenges to the COO.17. Promote good communication between all departments and facilities.18. Mentor, lead, inspire and develop key staff and the Zone A Operations Team.19. Review and endorse project reports as necessary (Progress, Cost, Schedule, Resources, Risk, Clients, Excom etc.) Who we are looking forKnowledge in:• Health, Safety and Environment Management• Yard Management and Operations technologies• Yard Operations and Facility Management.• Production facilities commissioning and startup• Customer Management, Focus and Service Excellence• Marine Fabrication and Construction Methods• Construction Engineering, Welding and Manufacturing Processes• International standards including SOLAS, ASME, ABS, BSI etc.• Planning, Scheduling, Contracts and Legal Requirements• Project Documentation, Estimating and Quotation.• Managing Issues: Determining Root Cause and Positioning Judging• Managing Complexity: Creating Orderliness, Working to Standards and Optimizing Resources.• Creating Value: Realizing Value, Pursuing Improvement, and Extracting Value from Information.• Establish Product Quality: Leading, Team working, Communicating and Resolving.• Managing Uncertainty: Appreciating Dilemma, Containing Risks and What-if Thinking.• Adopting New Thinking: Changing, Open Thinking and Appreciating Technology.Additional / Other Requirement:• Physical Make-up: Able to communicate with confidence, physically fit and able to work in extreme climatic conditions, excellent listening skills and assertive leadership.• Intelligence: Excellent interpersonal skills, Documentation, computer operation, procedures & systems, Problem definition and resolution.• Aptitudes: Leadership, motivation and team working, Proactive, demonstrates ability to listen to the views of others and respond in a logical, well thought out manner without the need to resort to authority.• Disposition: Able to relate well at all levels; conscientious, thorough, content to deal with detailed, routine work and resilience under pressure.• Min 15 yrs of experience in rig building industry including jack-up rig / Liftboat new build projects. Hold similar position before in established global ship or marine orientated fabrication yards.MUST have B.S.
