Fixed-Term Contract / Project ManagementFinding solutions to climate change is the priority of the 21st century, and means switching to low-carbon energy. At Assystem, our mission is to accelerate the energy transition worldwide. To achieve this, our 7,500 Switchers combine their historical engineering expertise and project management with digital technologies.In our 12 countries (Europe, Middle East, Asia) of operation, we are working on the production and distribution of low-carbon electricity, through the development of nuclear and renewable energies. We are also supporting the modernisation and development of energy grids, managing the setup and siting for new transmission and distribution networks, and using hydrogen to decarbonise the transport and industry sectors.Job DescriptionManaging, monitoring and reporting of the projects design and construction phase.Establishing a strong working relationship with clients and key stakeholders and ensure that all approvals are in place to meet schedule dates, as well as understanding regulatory requirements where applicable.Responsible for monitoring and managing the project through all stages of delivery.Developing the delivery strategy guiding the design management, managing procurement and all construction activities through the extended professional team of consultants and contractors.Driving the procurement of services and works required to deliver the project.Ensure that the approved project's plans (execution plan, quality plan, safety plan, etc.) are being adhered to and implemented by the contractors/ sub-contractors.Ensure the efficiency and quality of the construction work to meet program objectives and in budget.Ensure correct implementation of the program governance, stakeholder management, coordination, specifications and standards.Maintains first-level quality assurance to confirm that all work is in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards.Initiates and maintains cost and change management records, progress reports, project records, etc., as required.My ProfileMinimum 20 years of experience in mega infrastructure projects.Project management, supervision, and planning of water transmission projects.Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in technical report writing as well as oral communication skills.Excellent communication skills and reporting/presenting.Good knowledge of the tendering process.Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.PMP certified.GCC experience is a must.Experience working with an International Consultant.Communications & Presentation Skills.Quality Consciousness.Attention to Details.Problem Solving & Decision Making.Results Orientation.Planning and organizing with time management.Relationship Management.We are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
