Logistics Specialist

Join ARC Logistics Pty Ltd and be part of a team driving logistics innovation and business success on a global scale! We are looking for a Logistics Specialist joining our team in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor day-to-day logistics activities
• Provide plans and quotations for logistics services, including complex shipments
• Liaise with service providers including transport and heavy equipment companies to negotiate prices and terms
• Ensure appropriate legal paperwork is completed and filed for each project, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Monitoring projects to ensure costs remain within targets
• Act as escalation point in event of delays or other issues
• Undertake analysis of logistics projects, recognizing where we have done well and areas of improvement
• Identify and research business opportunities and assist to define strategic sales targets
• Help drive business expansion with an emphasis on European customers and agents
• Serve as the primary point of contact for dedicated agents
• Collaborate with the executive committee to set and implement organizational strategies, company policies, and goals utilizing area of expertise
• Consult with software companies to develop project logistics software
• Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and events, including social media promotions

• 10+ years of experience in logistics management and operations
• Formal qualifications in a relevant field are beneficial, but not required
• Strong analytical skills and ability to define sales strategies and business opportunities
• Knowledge of European markets and experience working with international agents
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in collaborating with executive teams and setting organizational goals
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams
• Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

The salary range is between A$ 100,000 and A$ 140,000, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
